British multi-disciplined artist Lee James Abbott is best known for his graphic art and his work within the film industry. He has created movie posters for indie films and big production houses, including the official poster for the short film ‘Alien Ore’ to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s iconic ‘Alien‘. His love of poster art also extends into the music industry. After spending his youth creating gig posters for his own and friend’s bands, Lee continues to explore this art form that introduced him to the medium of screenprinting. Studying the print technique in London, Lee has been experimenting ever since and hopes one day to be as prolific as BC’s own Bob Masse. This Summer, Lee created a set of bespoke screenprints to celebrate the 11th Basscoast music festival and this year’s theme of Duality.
